MDCAT consists of one long paper which has 220 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). Each MCQ contain four options in which candidate have to select the right answer.
From the Biology section, there are 88 MCQs Stated over there. Respectively Chemistry section contains 58 MCQs, the physics Section contains 44 MCQs and the English Section contains 30 MCQs. Each MCQ carries a Total of five marks. Eventually, MDCAT's total marks are 1100.
The total duration of this test will be approximately 2½ hours. One of the critical things is that there will be negative marketing conducted in this paper. If the candidate selects the right answer, then he will get five marks.
However, if he/she will choose the wrong answer then1 the mark will automatically be deducted from the total score MDCAT. If the student does not mark any option, then there will be no negative marking done on this situation.

MDCAT Physics Preparation Guide
The MCQs of Physics science in the paper are both simple and tough. There is an aggregate of 44 MCQs. Out of them, around 36 questions are very simple and can be said as book lines.

Admission And MDCAT Criteria For Different Seats
There is a total of 3305 (Three thousand three hundred and five) seats conducted for MDCAT. In this announced limit 2989 are open merit seats and 19 seats are announced for disabled students. Different institutes of 28 sectors announced two seats in which KEMU, AIMC, NMU, FJMU, SIMS, PMC, RMU, and QAMU are highlighted on the top list.
One seat is available in SMC for disabled students. Moreover, 49 seats are available for underdeveloped districts in 18 seats in NMU, ten seats in PMC, six seats in QAMU, and 15 seats in SZMC announced. Approximately 134 seats for Foreign Students are booked internationally.
While applying for open merit MDCAT seats, the applicant must have a residence in any area of Punjab. Also, the competitor probably showed up in the current MDCAT (MCAT) of Punjab, with a total rate equivalent or over 84%. SAT II/American MCAT scores are not worthy of open Merit seats. The candidates considered probably taken the MDCAT (MCAT) and passed HSSC/FSC (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks.

Important Note for MDCAT
The Medical & Dental Colleges’ Admission Test (MDCAT) is expected to be held in September/October this year.
- To appear in the MDCAT the eligible candidates must have Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Juvenile Card (JV)/Smart Identity Card for Children issued by NADRA
- The students who wish to appear in MDCAT must get their CNIC (in case of 18 years or above) or Juvenile Card (JV)/Smart Identity Card for Children (in case the age is below 18) from NADRA by August.
- No candidates shall be registered and allowed to appear in MDCAT without his/her CNIC or Juvenile Card (JV)/Smart Identity Card for Children issued by NADRA.

What is MDCAT
MDCAT is a Medical and Dental College Admission Test which is conducted in Pakistan every year for the admissions of BDS and MBBs studies. MDCAT is a pre-requisite test for taking admissions in all medical or dental colleges. According to the PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council).
