Lumhs Entry Test Preparation
In order to prepare themselves for the MDCAT exam, the students should be well prepared in their HSSC syllabus. Unfortunately, there is no standardized or defined outline given by NTS on the MDCAT exam in Sind like it is provided by the University of Health Sciences, Lahore for the Punjab MDCAT preparation. Therefore, it is clear that the students appearing for the MDCAT in Sind need to learn and clear all the topics included in their HSSC Pre-medical or A-Level curriculum.
Therefore the first step of preparation is to revise the topics from your HSSC textbooks of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. However, it is not an easy task to go through the whole book of HSSC in such a short period of time as the time frame between the HSSC result and MDCAT exam are only a few months but the trick is, the preparation for the MDCAT Sind exam actually starts with your annual exam preparations for HSSC.
This means one has to prepare for their HSSC exams in such a way and make notes that you can use to recap the same concepts when appearing for the MDCAT exam. This will help you to be confident, well prepared with the entire syllabus, and still, have plenty of time to explore other resources available to boost your preparation outside of the textbooks of the HSSC curriculum.
Once you have revised all the topics of your Biology, Physics, and Chemistry syllabus of your intermediate, the second step is to buy a good MDCAT preparation book. There are plenty of guidebooks available for MDCAT preparation. However, it is suggested to choose the book which has plenty of practice questions after each topic is covered.
The MDCAT guide books are again based on your HSSC syllabus therefore the topics and concepts are again the same as you have prepared from your textbooks. However, the MDCAT guide books provide you with more comprehensive and detailed outlines of each topic with plenty of practice questions. The other useful part of MDCAR guide books is their English section.
Books For LUMHS Preparation
Since the English portion contains 10 MCQs in the exam and it is majorly based on the vocabulary and grammar part. Therefore MDCAT guide books are designed in such a way that they provide you with rich vocabulary and practice questions related to English grammar that will tremendously help you to get maximum marks on your English portion.
