The Higher Education commission viz education testing council (ETC) will conduct the Undergraduate Studies Admission test (USAT) for admission at the undergraduate level in the universities operating all over Pakistan.
USAT Test will be held on September 12, 2021
Any score above 50 will be considered as the qualifying score for USAT Test. The maximum anyone can score USAT will be 100.
Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply for the HEC USAT Admission test?
- A student who has passed the higher secondary school certificate or equivalent/Grade 12 Education
- A student who has appeared in the final examination and waiting for the result

Test Pattern
Marks Distribution/Test Patter of Undergraduate Studies Admission. The Test is divided into two parts, Part 1 and Part 2.
Part 1
No of MCQs 75. Time allowed 100 minutes. verbal Reasoning Multiple choice questions will be 35 While reaming 40 will be quantitative reasoning.
Part 2
The time allowed for part 2 is 40 minutes. The question will be essay writing skills. The total marks for the USAT Part 2 are 25.

Test Schedule
the test is initially proposed quarterly based in the major cities of Pakistan to be held simultaneously. More tests can however be arranged if the need existed. The yearly calendar will be uploaded here on the MDCAT Guide website too.
Role of Universities
universities will continue to announce their admission program independently, Students will apply to universities will submit USAT ETC Scorecard for inclusion in the weightage-based merit calculation formula.
