Our Mission

Our mission is to provide every medical aspirant in Pakistan with free, accurate and up-to-date preparation resources regardless of their financial background or location. We believe quality education should be accessible to all students — from major cities to remote areas of Pakistan.

MDCAT Guide was founded in 2017 with a simple goal — to make MDCAT and NUMS preparation resources freely available online. What started as a small blog has grown into one of Pakistan’s most visited medical entry test preparation websites, helping thousands of students every year prepare for UHS MDCAT and NUMS Entry Test.

We publish free past papers, official syllabus PDFs, study guides, book reviews and admission news that are updated every year to reflect the latest exam patterns and official announcements from PMDC, UHS and NUMS.

Editorial standards

We are independent and have no affiliation with PMDC, UHS, NUMS, SZABMU, KMU, BUMHS or any medical or dental college. Our admission and syllabus articles are reviewed at the start of each cycle and again whenever an official notification is published. When we correct a substantive factual error we amend the article and note the date of the change. Where anything we publish conflicts with an official notification, the notification is correct, and we would like to hear about it through our contact page.

We do not host or distribute scanned copies of commercially published books. Where we discuss a published book we review it and point readers to the publisher or an authorised seller. Our full terms are set out in the terms and conditions, privacy policy and disclaimer.

Follow MDCAT Guide

We post notification alerts and short explainers on YouTube, Facebook and X, all at @mdcatguide. Anything we share there about dates or eligibility links back to the official source, and nothing we publish is ever sold.
