Disclaimer

Last updated: 8 August 2026. This disclaimer governs your use of mdcatguide.com. By reading, downloading or otherwise using anything on this website you accept the terms set out below. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

General information only

Everything published on MDCAT Guide is provided for general educational and informational purposes. Our articles explain admission processes, syllabus structures, test formats and study methods for medical and dental entrance examinations in Pakistan. They are written to help students understand a system that is often poorly documented, but they are not official guidance and they are not a substitute for the rules issued by the body conducting your test.

Nothing on this site constitutes professional, legal, medical, career or financial advice. Decisions about where to apply, what to study and how to prepare are yours alone, and you should make them after consulting the official prospectus and, where appropriate, a qualified counsellor at your institution.

No affiliation with official bodies

MDCAT Guide is an independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected in any way to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, the University of Health Sciences Lahore, the National University of Medical Sciences, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Khyber Medical University, Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences, or any public or private medical college. Names, logos and abbreviations belonging to these organisations are used only to describe and identify the examinations and admissions they administer.

Accuracy and official sources

Admission schedules, eligibility criteria, fee structures, weightings and syllabus content in Pakistan change frequently and sometimes at very short notice. We check our articles at the start of each admission cycle and again whenever an official notification is issued, but we cannot guarantee that every figure or date on this site reflects the position at the moment you read it.

Where an article conflicts with an official notification, advertisement or prospectus, the official document always prevails. Before you pay a fee, submit an application or make a travel arrangement, verify the details on the website of the relevant university or admitting authority. We accept no liability for a missed deadline, a rejected application or any other loss arising from reliance on information published here.

External links

Our articles link to official university portals, government notifications, publisher websites and other third-party resources. These links are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites, we do not monitor their content, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement of their views, products or privacy practices. Once you follow an external link, the terms and privacy policy of that website apply, not ours.

Study materials and copyright

Study notes, practice questions, summaries and explanations written by our team remain the property of MDCAT Guide and are made available for personal, non-commercial study. You may print or save them for your own revision. You may not republish, resell or redistribute them, in whole or in part, without written permission.

Past papers and official notifications referenced on this site remain the property of the universities and boards that issued them. Where we discuss commercially published textbooks or academy materials, we do so descriptively, and we direct readers to the publisher or an authorised seller rather than hosting copies. We do not host or distribute pirated, scanned or otherwise unauthorised copies of copyrighted books.

Copyright complaints

If you are a rights holder and believe material on this site infringes your copyright, contact us at mdcatguide@gmail.com with a description of the work, the address of the page concerned and a statement of your authority to act. We investigate every complaint and will remove or amend infringing material promptly, usually within a few working days of verifying the claim.

Advertising and sponsorship

This website is supported by advertising, including advertisements served by third-party networks. Advertisers have no control over and no advance sight of our editorial content, and the presence of an advertisement does not amount to a recommendation. Any sponsored article or paid placement is labelled clearly at the top of the page. Where we take part in an affiliate programme, we may earn a small commission if you buy through a link, at no additional cost to you.

Errors, omissions and availability

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error free or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MDCAT Guide and its contributors exclude liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website.

Changes to this disclaimer

We may revise this disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in the law or in how the site operates. The version published on this page is the version in force, and the date at the top shows when it was last amended. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
